When you take on the marketing for a small business, you don’t have a large team to call on, so you have to be a multitasker.
With limited budgets and, more importantly, time, you have no choice but to become knowledgeable in a wide range of marketing skills. You need to decide which elements of the Marketing Mix are relevant to the business, which ones to do yourself, and which ones to outsource (budget depending).
If you are the sole marketer, it can be lonely, and you have no-one to bounce ideas off. The support and friendship of fellow marketers has always been very important to me. This website is a celebration of marketers in my network who inspire and influence. The result is a showcase of informed marketing ideas.
